The warmth of the summer sun brings with it a season of exploration and joy, and at Sunset Academy, we’re embracing every sunny moment. July is a time for vibrant themes that celebrate the beauty and wonder of summer. Our classrooms are ready to dive into a month of exciting activities that will ignite curiosity, inspire creativity, and foster a love for learning in your children. From exploring the ocean’s depths to embarking on space adventures, we have an array of engaging themes tailored for each age group.

Here’s a glimpse of what each age group will be exploring this month:

Infant Classrooms

–Activities: Exploring different textures, sounds, and visuals related to summer, such as sand, water, and colorful beach balls.

Toddler Classrooms

— Toddlers will be focusing on language development and social-emotional skills through interactive storytelling, group activities, and cooperative play.

Preschool Classroom

• Theme: Under the Sea
• Activities: Discovering ocean animals, sensory bins with water and sea creatures, and ocean-themed art projects.

Pre-K Classroom

• Theme:Space Adventures
  • Activities: Exploring planets, stars, and astronauts through stories, crafts, and interactive activities.

Important Reminders

• Sunscreen: Please remember to apply sunscreen to your child before arriving at school. Additionally, ensure they are dressed in appropriate summer clothing to stay cool and comfortable.

• Monthly Staff Meeting and Training: Our monthly staff meeting and training will be held on July 12. We appreciate your understanding as we take this time to enhance our skills and knowledge to better serve your children.

• Independence Day Closure: Sunset Academy will be closed on July 4 in observance of Independence Day. We hope you and your family have a wonderful and safe holiday.
