Polar Newsletter: October 2024

Hello Polar Parents,

October is here the leaves are falling and the weather is changing. October is our favorite month for our classroom. We have a lot of fun projects for the children to make. We will be hanging a lot of ghosts and witches. They will also be making Pumpkins, spiders and bats. We will also read some fun books about Halloween.

Our letter of the month is “C.” As always please take the time to help your child learn new words that start with the letter “C.” This can be done of the way to and from school, at meals, at bath time or bed time, also while reading books you can point out the words that start with “C.”

We would like to welcome Kaya, Ellie and Harper from the Panda 2 room. We are so excited to be able to teach you all new and exciting things.

We have morning learning from 8:30-9:00

Morning learning is an Important part of the daily routine in preschools, as it allows children to participate in a structured group activity where they know what to expect.

During Morning learning time they learn to trace their names, ABC’s and numbers.

Cold weather

Please make sure to take out your child’s summer clothing and bring winter clothes.

During the winter we still go out if it’s not to cold. When it snows we have sleds to slide down the hill therefore your child needs a winter coat, hat, gloves, snow pants and snow boots to stay at school for the winter.
