Dear Black Bear Families,

Hello! I am Ms. Katie and if you haven’t met me yet, I am the substitute Black Bears teacher. I have enjoyed getting to know your kiddos the past four weeks, and we spent January learning about the weather. For February, our classroom theme is “Our Homes and Families.” We will be talking about where we live, the people we live with, our pets, and our favorite places to go with our families. This is a great time to bring in a family picture for us to hang up in our classroom. 

Some reminders: 

Every Friday, your child’s folder needs to be checked for completed work and art to bring home. The children are very proud of the work they do and want to share it with their families. 

Friday is also the time to bring home your child’s blankets to wash and bring back on Monday. 

Water bottles should be taken home daily and brought back the next day. 

Important Dates: 

Friday, February 10th: 4:00 p.m. closure for monthly staff meeting and training. 

Wednesday, February 15th: Kyla turns five. Happy Birthday, Kyla!
