Cubs Newsletter: March 2022

Dear Cubs Families,

We had a lot of fun learning about love and friendship during the month of February. In March, our classroom theme is “Growing Up Healthy!” This is a fun time to be doing this theme because many of our Cubs children are starting to try food! Whether taking the first bite of puree or rice cereal, or practicing our pincer grip by picking up bite sized table food, we are engaging our senses and advancing our development! We will get to try some new foods this month, as well as sing funny songs such as “Apples and Bananas” and “Fruit Salad.” We will also be reading books about food.

Two new children joined our program recently. Welcome, Maya and Jaxon. Evan is moving up to the Teddy classroom, but we will get to see him in the mornings and afternoons!

We also would like to welcome Ms. Karen to Cubs. She has been an amazing and welcome addition to our classroom!

Dates to remember:

We will close at 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 11th for our monthly training and staff meeting.

Please check your child’s cubby to make sure their clothes are seasonally appropriate and still fit.

Thank you!

Best,

Ms. Katie and Ms. Karen
