Dear Cubs Parents,
As I am typing this, the wind is blowing and the leaves are falling. It’s cold! As we head toward winter, we will have less opportunities to go outside, but will still go whenever we can. Please make sure your child has appropriate clothing for outside weather, either brought to school daily or kept in their cubby.
This month our theme is At the Zoo. We will be talking about the kind of animals found at the zoo (or in the wild). We will sing songs and fingerplays about zoo animals, and some of our daily activities will be adapted to include our theme.
The kiddos in this class have progressed so much this month!
Sierra is pulling to stand on her own and eating finger foods.
Evan is working on sitting up, can stand in the jumper, and is rolling around.
Atticus is standing for small periods without support.
Atticus is moving to Teddies on the first of November, we will miss him but we know that he is a big boy and is ready to go on adventures with Ms. Nicole and Ms. Bianca in his new class!
We are also welcoming two new students this month, Madison and Ellie!
Dates to remember:
Monday, November 8th: Parent/Teacher Conferences for Cubs. The sign-up sheet is posted outside the classroom door if you are interested in signing up.
Friday, November 12th: 4:00 p.m. closure for our monthly staff meeting.
Thursday, November 25th: Closed in Observance of Thanksgiving.
Friday, November 26th: Closed. This is a new closure that has just been added. We will be closed the Friday immediately following Thanksgiving from now on.
I hope you have a great month, and as always, thank you for trusting me with the care of your amazing little humans.
