Happy February Families. It seems like winter is trying to come in, yet the weather still changes daily from cold to warm. As the Colorado saying goes “If you don’t like the weather, wait 10 minutes.”
We are pleased to inform you that our staff at Sunset Academy has started receiving their notifications for vaccination. Some teachers have already received their first vaccination and others are on the priority list awaiting their notifications.
We will be having Valentines celebrations in each classroom. If you would like to bring in treats for your child’s classroom please ensure it is a healthy snack that is store bought and does not contain nuts. Your child can give out Valentines cards to their classmates. Just have your child’s name on the card and do not enter anything in the “To” field.
If you provide a morning snack for your child, please ensure it is a healthy snack. If you bring your child to school after 9:00 a.m., make sure they have had their breakfast and/or snack prior to coming to school as this is after morning snack time at the school.
Please ensure with our ever-changing weather that your child has appropriate clothing in their cubby so they are prepared for whatever the days bring.
Thank you, parents, for your precautions during this time keeping your child at home when sick or not feeling well. We know the extra stress this creates, but as you all know it is required to keep everybody safe and healthy. We truly appreciate you all.
As always, you may find available classroom newsletters here.
