Dear Parents,
Happy New Year!
We hope everybody enjoyed their time over the holidays despite the social distancing restrictions we all had to endure.
We have had great pleasure sharing this past year with you and your children and are looking forward to a
safe and healthy 2021.
Thank you to all who donated to the Our Center collection. They were overjoyed when Ms. Diane took the items.
If you would like your 2020 Tax Statement, please log into out Online Parent Portal at https://myprocare.com. You will be able to access it from there.
Keep yourself and your family healthy. Here are some ideas:
● Eat a well-balanced-diet that includes foods rich in zinc (whole grains, peanuts, cheese, dark turkey, legumes, and soy) to aid the immune system and decrease the risk of infection or illness. (Unless allergies) Offer extra fluids during the winter months to keep the body hydrated. Chicken soup may actually help to fight the common cold.
● Wash your hands well. Proper hand washing or using a hand sanitizer can dramatically decrease the chances of you becoming ill this winter. Wash your hands and your child’s hands frequently during the day for at least 20 seconds each time and ensure your hand sanitizer contains at least 60% alcohol.
● Disinfect sink handles, door knobs, and other frequently-touched areas with a disinfectant approved for household use.
● Use paper towels instead of shared towels.
Individual classrooms have published their monthly newsletters too, please follow this link for your child’s classroom
Check out website www.sunsetacademy.com, we have added a lot of new material, some of them might be very useful.
Best regards,
Nina Emmer – Director, Sunset Academy.
