Dear Grizzly Bears families,

It’s so hard to believe, we’ve come this far! Your little Pre-Kindergartener has grown so much and worked so very hard this school year!! We still remember that day…the first day of school, August 14th, 2023! We are very proud of ALL their accomplishments! Here we would like to thank you for this incredible journey with you and your students. Every child has become a special part of our hearts. We have enjoyed watching each blooming moment!! 

Important Events in May:

– Friday 05/10, Mother’s Day Celebration. In honor of Mother’s Day on Sunday May 12th, the kids will make presents and Mother’s Day Cards for moms. Happy Mother’s Day!!

– Friday May 17th, Pre-Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony. We will have the Graduation Ceremony on the school field. The starting time is TBD. We look forward to seeing you and your families at the event. 

Congratulations on you and your student!!

– Monday May 27th, Memorial Day. School Closed. Happy Memorial Day!

– Spring Teacher/Parent Conference. This year, we are not going to have a formal Teacher/Parent Conference. Instead of this, we will hand out your child’s assessment in the classroom during drop off or pick up in May, before the graduation ceremony day.

– Colorado Shines Rating: Sunset Academy is one of the best schools in the city and the state, as we are rated as Colorado Shines Level 4. Colorado Shines assigns a quality rating to licensed early care and education programs on a scale of 1 to 5. The rerating will be coming up soon in May.
