Welcome To December Grizzly Families,
Winter is fast approaching. The weather this year, however, seems to be a bit confused. Please remind students to bring a jacket/coat, even if they don’t think they will need it. Weather can change quickly and it is better to be prepared than caught off guard.
We would like to thank families for continuing to have your student bring in and take home water bottles daily. Hydration is still important.
We would like to inform you of a couple changes to the Grizzly classroom his month. The team of Ms. Rachel, Mr. Rob, and Ms. Steph will be joined by Ms. Leewitt returning to the Grizzly classroom. She is excited to be back with the Grizzly students and families.
We have one “Late Start” and Winter Break coming up and one day that Sunset Academy is closed and this month. Students will need lunch and PM snack on all no school days. The dates are listed below:
12/6/17 Late Start – Flagstaff and Saint Vrain Valley School District (SVVSD)
12/18/17 – 1/1/18 Winter Break – No School
12/20/17 – 4:30 Winter Performance – Grizzly Classroom
12/25/17 CHRISTMAS DAY – SUNSET ACADEMY is CLOSED

1/1/18 NEW YEARS DAY – SUNSET ACADEMY is CLOSED
1/2/18 No School – Flagstaff, TPCA
We will have sign-up sheets for these days. Please see a teacher for late start sign-up. The sign-up for Winter Break will be under the whiteboard. We need families to sign their student “IN” or “OUT” by December 15th so we can schedule staff accordingly.
