April is here, and we are enjoying the beautiful weather as it comes. The children are having a great time outdoors. As the weather gets warmer please take a moment to look through your child’s cubby and make sure they have an extra set or two of weather appropriate clothing.

Reminders:

–Labeled water bottle 

-If your child will arrive to the center after 9, please make sure to apply sunscreen before drop off

–Friday, March 12th is our monthly staff meeting. Please make any arrangements needed to have your child picked up before 4:00 pm.

-Check your child’s fabric folder that is hanging next to the gate in our classroom. That is where all their art work will be and any other paperwork that may be sent home.

– Picture day is April 4th!

This month: We will continue to explore and learn our colors. The kiddos have been enjoying learning the colors, animals and sounds. As they are very engaged and interested, I would like to continue teaching them these topics. We are also working hard on using our utensils. It would be very helpful if this can be reinforced and practiced at home as well. This helps your child’s fine motor muscles as well and helps them prepare for the Panda 1 room.
