Welcome To October Koala 2 Families,

We had so much fun in September getting to know the students.  Each of their personalities has already worked their way into our hearts.

We do have a couple changes in the classroom this month with Harrison and Luca transitioning to the Panda 1 classroom. We are going to miss you both.  We are pleased to have Dylan H. and Nova transition to our class this month.  We look forward to getting to know their personalities and continue to play with all our Koala 2 students as they learn and grow.

We welcome Ms. Stephani to our classroom.  Ms. Stephani has had experience working with childen in childcare before.  We are excited to have her join us on this great adventure into learning.  Ms. Stephani enjoys crafting, playing and dress up.  She looks for and values each child’s uniqueness.  She enjoys conversation with the students and their parents. Ms. Stephani has a 3-year-old of her own and understands them well.

October brings even chillier weather.  Please remember to bring a jacket/coat for your child as the weather can change quickly and it is better to be prepared than caught off guard.

Our room will be transforming this month in preparation for the Fall Festival.  The Fall Festival is Sunset Academy’s way to celebrate Fall harvest, the Fall season and Halloween in one.  We dress up, do activities and have decorations through the whole center.  Prizes and treats are age appropriate and we will have a pumpkin patch with a pumpkin for each student.  It is a lot of fun. We hope to see you there.
