Happy November families,

I want to say a big thank you for your participation and bringing yummy food and plates and cups for our Halloween party we had an amazing time and lots of fun. This month we will be learning and discussing dinosaurs, friendships, Thanksgiving and being thankful. I have lots of fun art and activities planned this month. We will focus on gratitude with Thanksgiving approaching, we will learn what it means to be thankful, we will celebrate our families, friends and healthy bodies.
We have some important dates this month, we will be CLOSED on Thursday the 26th and we will close early at 2:00 pm on Friday the 27th. If you have any questions or concerns please let me know, thank you.
Here is a fun activity to try at home. No cook pumpkin playdough.
Ingredients
– 1 can of pumpkin puree (15oz)
– 2-3 cups of corn starch
– 2 tbsp of pumpkin pie spice
Instructions
– Combine the canned pumpkin and pumpkin spice in a bowl and mix until pumpkin is smooth.
– Slowly add corn starch and stir. Continue to add corn starch until a dough begins to form. You will want to finish kneading the dough with your hands.
– After a bit of kneading you will be left with the most delightfully squishy and soft pumpkin play dough… Enjoy have fun..
