Hello Panda 1 Families!
Happy July! I hope all of our Dad’s had a great Father’s Day!
In June we talked about Summer, Dinosaurs, the 5 Senses, the Beach and Space! We got to enjoy playing some new instruments to explore with sound, we put together dinosaur skeletons and we did lots of fun water activities! We also started our weekly Splash Days and they have been so much fun! Thank you all for your help in having your children prepared before arriving at school. It helps so much to keep our morning routine going smoothly before heading out to play in the water.
In June we had a new friend join us from the Koala classroom, welcome to Pandas, Beckett! We are so very excited to have you!
We were sad to say goodbye to a couple of friends this month as well, and also our friend Lucien who has graduated to Panda 2!
Due to our now lower numbers, Ms. Maddie will be helping out in a different classroom for the time being, we will miss her very much while she is gone! She will however likely be helping out in the Panda rooms during lunch breaks and in the afternoons.
Reminders for the month:
-We will close EARLY (at 4:00) on Friday, July 9th for staff training.
–We will be closed on Monday July 5th for the 4th of July.
-Please pack weather appropriate spare clothes, we will be going outside in both the morning and afternoon (temperature depending).
-We do not provide a morning snack, if your child arrives before 9am please provide a snack for them.
-Splash Day is every Friday during our morning outside time, please bring your child to school ready to go in their swim gear, if you would like for your child to wear a swim diaper I am happy to change them into it. Please do not send your child with a swim diaper on already, they do not hold urine and we do not go outside until 9:30.
-Please try to be here before 9:30 in the mornings if possible, now that it is just me it helps me out to get everyone changed and/or sat on the potty before we head outside, it is hard to bring the whole crew inside just for a diaper change or to go potty. Thank you so much for your cooperation on this!
