 Happy New Year Polar Families ! For the month of January we will continue doing many winter crafts with the children.We are working on individualizing each child to see what they know and what they don’t know and we will be helping them learn more where needed. |
The letter of the month is “E” please continue to talk to your child about words that start with the letter “E” when children are able to recognize letters they are able to start connecting them with sounds they make, and this essential for reading and spelling.  |
 It has been a challenge for the last three weeks to keep our children healthy let’s keep germs away !!!As the temperature drops, we will be seeing more friends sick. We kindly ask that you keep your child home if they aren’t feeling or behaving like their usual self and show symptoms of fatigue, cough, sore throat, runny nose or fever. We realize this can be difficult to arrange but it is vital when it comes to keeping children and staff healthy. Thank you for your cooperation. |

 Reading books aloud to children helps them develop language and listening skills and prepares them to understand the written word. Reading at the same time every day as part of a bedtime routine, for example can be comforting and make it easier to build the habit of reading, but anytime your child is hearing language and connecting with you makes a difference. |
