Dear all,

It is customary for Sunset Academy to celebrate the most outstanding teacher among us by giving him/her the “Teacher of The Year” awards at the yearend.

This year, we have asked all our teachers to do the nearly impossible: to improve the quality of service while fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of our teachers rose to the challenge and delivered what the community has asked us to do.

During the nomination process, as a testimony of the excellent professionalism of our teachers, many names surfaced. As a result, we broke away from the tradition of naming just one teacher each year as the “Teacher of The Year”, instead we have decided to give the awards to several teachers.

These teachers have given the school above and beyond what has been requested of them. In addition to doing their job, they always look for ways to help making the school better; they completed their trainings ahead of schedule and embraced the school’s quality improvement initiatives whole-heartedly.
