School_Closure_Requirements_3.11.20Dear Grizzly Parents of Sunset Academy,

We received the news that St. Vrain School District is closed tomorrow and through the rest of the month. During the planned non-school days, Sunset Academy would usually step in and provide full-day services to your child(ren). However, because of the sudden and unplanned nature of this closing, we are not staffed to provide full-day service tomorrow.

According to our original plan, tomorrow is our monthly early closing day and  the school is going to be closed at 4:00pm anyway. Because there is no school we can send your child(ren) in the morning and we do not have the staff resources to take care of your child(ren) during the day, after careful consideration, we will not take any Before- and After-School children in tomorrow morning.

We will refund your tuition for the day.

Over the weekend, we will make a decision as to how can we support you during the extended closing of St. Vrain school district through the end of March, 2020. We will communicate with you as soon as we have a decision.
