Hello Teddy families!
This past month we said farewell to summer by sending it off with an insect theme. We made our hand caterpillars and beautiful butterflies; and got to reed insect-related books such as “Forest Friends”. As we say hello to October and the cooler weather we ask that you please bring a sweater or light jacket to keep here at school as we will still be going outside and seeing the season change. Zippers are preferable to help us quickly prepare ten crawlers for outside, but not required.
Our theme for October will be Fall Harvest. We will explore with different sensory activities like art, finger-plays, and songs that tie in to our harvest theme. We will be signing songs like “Five Little Apples” and “The Farmer In the Dell”. We will get to play with pumpkins and dry corn in order to explore new textures, and even get to paint on/with them!
We also want to welcome two new friends to our Teddy classroom, Aryan and Hailey.
Happy birthday to:
Paisley! (10/18)
Ms. Katie! (10/25)
