Teddies Newsletter: September 2019

Hello Teddy families!

We had a lot of fun this summer with splash day and wagon rides in the fresh air. Though it is still very warm outside, fall is just around the corner. If you would like to bring a light sweater to leave at school for your child, they can be prepared for any weather the coming month chooses to bring us.

This month we will be focusing on bugs and insects! We will be creating insect art, looking for bugs on our walks, and singing a lot of songs
about bugs!

If you have any bug-related board books you would like to bring for us to read to the class, we would love to borrow them! They will only be handled by adults, just please be sure to label them with your last name.

We have two new children in our class! Joseph and Anthony have recently transitioned from Cubs and we are excited to welcome them.

Happy birthday this September to:
Joseph! (09/09)
Calvin! (09/22)
Ms. Marilyn! (09/22)

Reminders:
Monday, September 2nd is Labor Day, Sunset will not be open. Enjoy the long weekend!
Friday, September 13th is our early close day. Please pick up your child by 4 PM.
We will be using our classroom whiteboard for reminders and announcements.
Last but not least, we will be incorporating basic sign language into our everyday classroom routines. This month’s words are: more, all done, water, and milk.
If you have any questions or comments, please speak with Ms. Katie!
