Hello, Teddy Bear families! I hope you are all enjoying your first few weeks of Spring! I would like to introduce myself as the new Teddy’s teacher! My name is Chelsie Brown, I am 20 years old and I have been working in early childhood education for almost 3 years. I specialize in infants/toddlers and I am CDA certified. I love a good art project, especially painting large pieces of furniture or large canvases. I love painting pottery and I usually spend my free time at the gym or out in nature. I am very family oriented, I have 5 siblings and I love our dysfunctional, crazy, family dynamic. For this month’s lesson plan, I really want to focus on Growth Mindset and Setting Goals. These goals can specify in social/emotional growth, gross motor skills, encouraging difficult activities, trying new things, and NEVER giving up. I want to help the children get into an “I Will” mindset as we enter a new season that symbolizes growth, improvement, and blooming. I am looking forward to getting to know each of you and getting to know your wonderful kiddos! If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to me through procare or in person! 🙂 Happy Spring! “Growth Mindset teaches kids to think creatively, solve problems, embrace mistakes, and love learning.” -Unknown Miss Chelsie ❤️ |
