Happy December Teddy families! We have made it to the end of the year!!! November was a weird month for me and I wanna apologize for not doing many projects or things with the kids. I have lots of fun things planned for the month of December including some cute Christmas crafts.
With that being said, our monthly theme is winter and Christmas. We will be reading a book about the seasons as well as talking about snow and cold weather. That will include talking about wearing jackets and boots and things like that. Towards the end of the month we will be getting into the Christmas spirit doing some fun holiday crafts and reading holiday books. We will also talk about different holidays that happen this month as well. Along with all those fun things we will of course be working on hitting our milestones such as walking, pulling up, standing, etc. I will be jumping back into using open cups and we will also begin introducing using spoons when we eat.
IMPORTANT DATES:
December 6th: Winter Performance at the American Legion at 7:00pm
December 13th: Early closure (Be sure to arrange for your child to be picked up before 4:00pm)
December 23rd: Christmas pj party
December 24th: Christmas eve (We close at 2:00pm)
December 25th: Christmas day (We are closed)
December 31st: New Years Eve (We close at 2:00pm)
I wanted to also give a special announcement/heads up in this monthly newsletter. For those who do not know I am currently expecting my 4th baby. I will be going on maternity leave in May. Some of you this may not affect as your child will likely be in koalas at that point but, I figured I would let everyone know so that nobody is blindsided when I am gone. We now have Ms. Mayra who is a great addition to our classroom and will be here to answer any questions and help all of you out while I am gone. I will be gone from May to September so when I come back likely I will come back to a whole new class. 🙁 While that does make me a little sad I am so very happy I have gotten to teach all your littles and will continue to spend time with them till May. As always if you have any questions or concerns feel free to reach out at any time! I am great at responding through procare or we could always talk at drop off or pick up.
With Love,
Ms. Tabatha and Ms. Mayra
