Illness Management and Prevention. Lately, we have been seeing many illnesses pass through our school and this community. In order for our school to maintain healthy teachers, staff and classrooms, we need absolute adherence to our guidelines at this time:

A child that has a fever and then is medicated with a fever reducer, should not be attending school. The child should be fever free ( without the aid of tylenol or ibuprofen) for 48 hours before returning to school. We are encouraging all parents to have back up plans for childcare if their child is sick as we are unable to care for sick children in this group care setting. It puts staff and other children at risk.

Please have your child checked by a physician for a fever greater than 101 and lasting 2 days. If a child has been diagnosed with influenza or any communicable disease please let the director and staff know so we can contain it.
